Walgreens Run 1/17

I know it isn't much to write home about, but my Walgreens was out of the Sugar Free Thera-flu and my Lipton Tea coupon was expired, so I decided to pass that deal up. Plus, I really don't need anymore Theraflu for awhile! Hee hee!

So here is what I did today at Walgreens:

2 Wet Ones Wipes $2.00 each=$4(Free after coupon and RR earned!!) I have been waiting for a deal to come up, so I can buy these! I love having these in the car for quick cleaning/sanitizing of kids! :-)
2 Lindsay Olives 2 for $4(they were suppouse to be $.99 after in ad coupon but somehow mine ended up being $1.50 each, I guess the subtotal was to low for it to take off the total amount or they have changed their in ad coupons to require 1 per prod. purchased.  either way my end total was so low I didn't notice till now!)
1 Filler Christmas clearance candy $.12
Total OOP: $.41(was $1.36 before I added the filler item. So this is a good example of how using filler items can lower your OOP amount b/c it allows you to use all your coupons and RR). My Lindsay in-ad coupon wasn't working when she scanned it last so I added the filler item and it worked(but not enough as I explained above-oh well!)
Total Saved: $10.46($8.01 in just coupons)

So how did you do? Or did you skip Walgreens all together because of the slow ad week?

$5 Planters Money Maker @ Walgreens!!

This coming week (starting 1/17), Walgreens has Planters Peanuts, 12 oz can on sale for $1.99.
Use the $1/2 MFR Q from 12/13 SS AND $1/1 Wags Q from Walgreens Diabetes & You magazine and Pay $.98/2.

Purchase 10 for $4.90 and send away for a $10 rebate HERE.

You'll get 10 cans for FREE plus Make $5.00 profit!!

Walgreens 1/3- Trip #2 Tuesday

I did 3 transactions but took just one picture(b/c I kinda forgot that I did 3 transaction).  I did 3 b/c I returned the Ester-C and then re-bought it separately to make a coupon work!

Transaction #1:
2 Nabisco Oreo's on sale $.99 each (it had been reported that they were printing $2RR making them free, but that didn't happen for me- don't know why. But oh well, can't win them all!)
1 Popcorn $.39(so I could use 2 RR and lower my OOP)
-$1 RR
-$1RR
Total OOP: $.42
Total Saved: $4.00

Transaction #2:
2 Glucerna Cereals $4.99 each
1 Loreal Towelettes Cleansing Cloths $4.19 clearance priced!! (Reg. $7.99)
1 Electrasol Gel Pacs 20ct $3.49 on sale(the sign was just in front of the powerballs which were sold out, so I took the Gel pacs up to the front and had them do a price check and the rang up on sale too!!! So you can get these and still use your coupon plus get the $1RR back!)
2 Glade Candles 2oz $2.50 each on sale
1 Garnier Nutritioniste Daily Exfoliating gel Cleanser $3.19 clearance priced!! (Reg. $5.99)
1 Nivea Moisturizing Creme .84oz $.60 clearance (Reg. $1.19)
2 Reach Total Care 30yd Floss $3.99 each
1 Listerine Agent Blue Rinse $3.19 clearance priced (Reg. $5.29)
1 John Frieda Luxurious Volume Hairspray $1.79 clearance(Rumored that if you bought 2 of these a $5RR would print out- but my store only had one of these so this is what I bought b/c that is still a good steal of a deal! Hee hee!)
Used
-$3 RR from last Wags trip
-$2.50 Electrasol man. coupon 1/3
-$1/1 Listerine Agent Cool Blue 1/3RP
-$2 Mistery coupon( I just can't figure out what it was for)
-$1/1 Reach Total Care Floss 30yd
- BOGO FREE Reach Total Care Floss 30yd (value $3.99)
-$1/1 Loreal Facial Cleanser 11/15ss
-$2/1 Wags coupon for Reach(Deducted $4 since I bought 2)
-$3/2 Glade coupon (ALL You magazine I think)
-$3/2 Glade coupon (Parade magazine-maybe)
-$1/1 Garnier Nutritioniste coupon 12/6RP
-$1/1 Mystery coupon(ha, ha- the kids make me crazy and I can't keep up with the coupons. but I do know that all the ones I handed him,he used and they worked. So I must have had this one!)
-$2/1 Wags coupon for Glucerna (Deducted $4 since I bought 2)
-$1.50/1 Wags coupon for Glucerna(deducted $3 since I bought 2)
-$2.50/2 Glucerna man. coupon(the manager had to force this one through- yeah for her doing it!)
Total OOP: $16.72(I returned the Ester-C which is incl. in this total, so really I spent $5.07!!)
Total Saved: $ 35.99(just in coupons), not going to list Wags Savings b/c it probably includes the Ester-C and I don't want to mess with that!

Transaction 3:
2 Ester-C $10.99 BOGO FREE
Used
-$5/1 Ester-C coupon (it was posted that you could use 2 but I tried to use both on trans. 2 and neither worked, so I came back to the store after going to the library and had the manager return the Ester-C. Then re-ring it up, so I could hopefully use at least 1 coupon! It worked! I didn't try to use 2 as it didn't seem like that was going to work with them and I really did get one at $0.00, so I can complain)
Total OOP: $6.65
Total Saved:$5.50(really $16.49 since you get a free Ester-C valued at $10.99)
Making each Ester-C $2.99 without tax-Sweet!

Earned $3RR for the Glade and a $1RR for the Electrasol! So all in all I paid $12.14- $4RR= $8.14! YIPEE!) That isn't even the price for 1 Ester-C!!

So did you round up a few more deals after reading some extra later posts? Tell me!

NOTE: Look around your stores for clearance items! You might just find one that is awesome and it lines up nicely with a coupon you have! That is what the Garnier, Loreal, and Listerine Agent Cool Blue were for me this trip!

Walgreens: Glucerna Cereal $0.24 Per Box!

Well, it looks like you may be able to score some very inexpensive Glucerna cereal and possibly other Glucerna products too! There are 3 different coupons you can stack on top of one another to really come out ahead! First, there’s a bonus Walgreens $2/1 Glucerna printable coupon available here–valid on snacks, cereal, bars or shakes! You can also combine this coupon with the $1.50/1 Walgreens coupons available in the Diabetes and You coupon booklet (there is a $1.50/1 shakes coupon and a $1.50/1 cereal or bars coupon inside the booklet).
…AND finally, you can combine the above coupons with either the $3/3 coupon from here (manufacturer coupon with Target logo–click on the healthcare category on the left hand side to access the coupon fast) or use the new $2.50/2 manufacturer coupon from the 1/3SS!
Alright, so now that you know the coupons to use, here’s a deal scenario:
Buy 2 boxes of Glucerna Cereal $4.99 each=$9.98
Use the $2/1 Bonus coupon (will deduct $4 since you’re buying 2 boxes)
Use the $1.50/1 Diabetes and You coupon (will deduct $3)
Plus, use the $2.50/2 manufacturer coupon
Final cost ONLY $0.24 per box!
NEW UPDATE: Submit your receipt to the Caregivers Marketplace and you’ll get a $0.75 rebate back (per box of cereal purchased)! That will turn this deal into a nice little moneymaker!
(Thanks, SharpenYourScissors!)
