Publix Steals 1/14/10

Transaction 2: (I know this is not suppouse to be first, but hey, I wanted to write up the easier transaction first!) I did 2 transactions so that I could send off for the 'Spend $10 get $25 in coupons Rebate from Congra Foods'.

5 Chef Boyardee $1.00 each=$5.00 ($3/5 after coupons)
4 Rotel Diced Tomatoes $1.39 each =$5.56 ($2.96/4 after coupons)
Total OOP: $5.96
Total Saved: $7.05($4.60 in just coupons)
Mail in Rebate and get $25 in coupons to save me even more money!! The items purchased are items we use anyways, so I am not out in purchasing these at an ok price!(something to consider when doing a MIR)

Transaction 1:
4 Del Monte Vegetables BOGO $1.29($1.58/4 after coupons)
2 Lawry's 30 min Marinade BOGO $2.87=$2.87 no coupons
2 V8 Splash Juice 64oz BOGO $2.79 ($1.79/2 or $.90 each!! better than Southern Savers had them priced at $3.13 BOGO)
1 Gatorade 64oz $2.50 ($.95 after coupons)
2 Pam Baking Sprays $3.39 each- I think they rang up wrong will call to check tomorrow($4.78 after coupons ;-(
3 Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers $1each=$3
2 Quaker Chewy Granola bars BOGO $2.99( I think there might have been a printable for these but I decided since I am running low on a couple inks that it wasn't worth the savings) Good price just as is!
2 Heft Cinch Trash Bags BOGO $6.49($4.94 after coupons- could have been $3.94 after but I accidentally printed a coupon on top of the other $1 one :(

2 Sundown Naturals (fish oil and flaxseed oil) $4.99 each ($.02 MM!!!)
2 Kraft Shredded Cheese 8oz $2 each ($3/2 after coupon)
2 Bird's Eye Viola! Meals BOGO $4.99($3.50/2 after coupons or $1.75 each-great price to feed me and the kids on!)
10 Healthy Choice Meals $2.00 each=$20 ($10 after coupons would have been $5/10 if I hadn't used my other $5/5 printable at Kroger, but hey $1 a meal! I'm still happy with that!)
1 Bottom Round Roast $2.29lb lower price than Southern Savers advertised=$8.82(Free- somehow it got missed being scanned and I didn't notice until just now! OH NO! Ummm, what to do? Got free meat, so I don't think I'll call about the Pam spray price?)
2 Mott's Applesauce 23 or 24 oz $1 each=$2
2 Success Brown Rice 2 for $4($2/2 after coupons)
1 AJC Thursday newspaper $1
1 Publix Juice 'Penny Deal' $.01+$1 cost of newspaper=$1.01 still a good price for juice
1 Total Toothpaste 6oz with trial size tube $1.99($.99 after coupon)
1 Publix 6ct large eggs $.70(just in case I need them to cook or something)
Total OOP: $51.74
Total Saved:$83.13($45.03 in just coupons)


Total for both Transactions:$57.70
Total Saved for both: $90.18

I think I will have to go back to Publix tomorrow and clear my conscience! Maybe exchange the Pam for the other one I wanted if they are going to be the same price! Ahh, the joys of mess ups!
