Gymboree sale plus Gymbucks to be used...

Ok, so I had to see what was on sale at Gymboree due to having some Gymbucks that I didn't want to waste!
Here is what I got:
2 Pairs of pants $6.33 each after discounts and gymbucks redeemed
3 shirts $6.86, $4.22, $4.21
Total Spent: $29.62
Not to shabby for brand name clothes!! The boys are well on the way to being well stocked for clothes next year! I just love getting them(and me!) clothes! Gymboree really is a great place to get inexpensive clothes if you can combine sale, gymbucks and coupons that are sometimes in the newspaper or may come in your email for joining the Gymboree card discount club. We scored really good stuff for very little last time in december!

Walmart Run 1/17

This run just solidifies why I don't shop or count on the deals being as good as other people publish! But I still did ok!
Here is what I got:
1 Tide Stain Release combo packs 15ct $5 rollback price($2 after coupon)
1 Electrasol 20ct tabs $3.87($1.37 after coupon- was under the impression that the 40ct were on rollback for $2.50 which would have made them free, but my store didn't have any 40ct!)
1 All You Cookbook $12($11 after printable coupon- there are some really good looking recipes in here and some coupons in the back! I can't wait to try some of these!)
1 Duck Tape $1.50($.50 after coupon)- the deal post on another blog was for the one on sale for  $.77 but my coupon wasn't for that one.
1 Post It note $2.44($1.44 after coupon- again a deal gone not as posted. The $.50 one were sold out but still a good price as I use post its a lot)
1 Tyson Refrigerated Grilled Chicken strips $2.50 roll back price($1.95 after coupon-was looking for the beef that I had a coupon for but they didn't have and spotted these when I couldn't find the other)
Total OOP: $20.08
Total Saved: $9.05(coupons)

Staples Run 1/16

My main reason for going to Staples was to get more paper b/c I was all out! But there were a few other things I scored at great Steals!!
1 Staples paper $24.99($2.50 rebate will be sent to me later for this purchase)
1 Deer Park Water pack $3.99 (the boys-all 3, were thirsty!)
2 Gift wraps clearance priced $.50 each!!! They were labeled at $1.90 each so I was surprised to see them ring up so cheap!!
1 Christmas Tags $.90
Total OOP: $32.49($29.99 after rebate is received for paper)

Old Navy 50% off already clearanced items sale

I just had to check it out since I also was able to print out a 10% off coupon to go on top of the clearance price and additional 50% sale.
So here is what we scored:
22 items for $57.45!!!!

The Kids scored-
4 shirts(3 long sleeved and 1 short sleeve)
1 pair of sleeping pants
2 pairs of reg. pants
1 pair of basketball shorts
2 kids winter hats

I scored-
1 work out top
1 sweater (my favorite score $7.46!!! and it fits like a dream. I wore it today to church!)
4 long sleeve shirts
3 tank tops
2 short sleeve shirts
1 smocked shirt

Ron wasn't able to find anything. The pants he found that he liked weren't on sale and the men's clearance section was lame! Poor Guy!

So I would recommend checking out the Old Navy near you to score some cute clothes for super cheap! Also look for the post I previously posted about visiting the Old Navy site and claiming your additional coupon like I did for the 10% off to make the deals even sweeter! You may be able to get a higher coupon value like 15% off! There were plenty of other items I could have bought for myself but I was trying to keep the overall total due in check!

Target Toy Sale Steals

So I was a little late in getting to the Semi-Annual Target 75% off Toy sale because there weren't a lot of good toys left. Here is what I did score:
2 Spiderman Lunch boxes $4.98 each= $9.96
1 27 Dresses DVD $9.00($7 after printable coupon- this movie is so cute!)
1 Cheetos $.99(we got hungry, plus I love these-not pict. due to us eating them)
1 Playdoh $.48
1 Disney Cars phone $1.38
2 Tag books $10.09 each=$20.18($12.18 for both after coupons) I just noticed she forgot to scan one! ARRHHH! I just don't know if it's worth it to drive all the way back over there to get $4, but that sure does mess up my deals!
Total OOP: $38.47
Total Saved: $6.00 just coupons(plus whatever I saved in orig. price vs. clearance priced)

CVS Run 1/17

Small purchase at CVS too! I decided not to do the Scrubbing Bubbles twin pack deal and my CVS was still out of the SoyJoy bars so I may go to the 24hr one tomorrow to get my last 2! We will see!
Here are the steals I got:
2 Dawn Hand Renewal on sale $.96(Free after coupons from Home Made Simple booklets)
2 Revlon Color Stay Foundations $13.49 each( one free+used 2 Revlon Color coupons=$9.49 for both)
Total OOP: $10.41
Total Saved: $21.47
Still have my ECB's from SoyJoy deal last week and I may use those to roll for more tomorrow!
So did you do a CVS run today or are you waiting till later in the week? Maybe you skipped it all together this week due to a slow ad?!!

Walgreens Run 1/17

I know it isn't much to write home about, but my Walgreens was out of the Sugar Free Thera-flu and my Lipton Tea coupon was expired, so I decided to pass that deal up. Plus, I really don't need anymore Theraflu for awhile! Hee hee!

So here is what I did today at Walgreens:
2 Wet Ones Wipes $2.00 each=$4(Free after coupon and RR earned!!) I have been waiting for a deal to come up, so I can buy these! I love having these in the car for quick cleaning/sanitizing of kids! :-)
2 Lindsay Olives 2 for $4(they were suppouse to be $.99 after in ad coupon but somehow mine ended up being $1.50 each, I guess the subtotal was to low for it to take off the total amount or they have changed their in ad coupons to require 1 per prod. purchased.  either way my end total was so low I didn't notice till now!)
1 Filler Christmas clearance candy $.12
Total OOP: $.41(was $1.36 before I added the filler item. So this is a good example of how using filler items can lower your OOP amount b/c it allows you to use all your coupons and RR). My Lindsay in-ad coupon wasn't working when she scanned it last so I added the filler item and it worked(but not enough as I explained above-oh well!)
Total Saved: $10.46($8.01 in just coupons)

So how did you do? Or did you skip Walgreens all together because of the slow ad week?

Just keep in mind to make sure that what coupons you do print are worth the ink you are spending to print them. I have cut way back on the printable coupons that I print. I was running through ink to quickly and having to throw away to many coupons that expired and I wasn't able to use. So basically I print out coupons only if- I really want the product and it will make it $1 or less, usually I try for free. I also print out a coupon if there are no coupons for that product in the newspaper and the product is free or really cheap with the coupon. I hope that makes sense!
